Meet Jessica Sallenback – Manager, Lester Centre of the Arts!

My name is Jessica Sallenback, I'm excited to introduce myself as the new Manager of the Lester Centre of the Arts.

I grew up in Terrace, BC, but Prince Rupert has been my home for the last six years. You might recognize me from my last few years as a clerk with the City of Prince Rupert, it gave me a wonderful chance to get to know so many of you and support our local community initiatives!

When I’m not at work, I’m volunteering with the Prince Rupert Special Events Society. Few things bring me more joy than helping put on some of our city’s favourite events! Those experiences have truly deepened my love for the energy, creativity, and incredible spirit that makes Prince Rupert such a fantastic place to live.

Taking on the leadership of the Lester Centre is a dream come true and a challenge I’m eager to jump into. I am passionate about the performing arts and committed to this beautiful theatre. I feel strongly that this is a community centre, and I am committed to providing an inclusive and positive experience to all performers, volunteers, and audience members!
